Types of Massage

Therapeutic Massage – 30, 60 or 90 minutes
Therapeutic massage involves a combination of different techniques such as Swedish massage, Deep Tissue massage, Zen Triggerpoint Anatomy and Reflexology. Application of specific methods depends on the current state and need of each client individually.

Prenatal Massage – 60 minutes
Prenatal massage is very beneficial in promoting relaxation, soothing nerves, and relieving strained back and leg muscles. Massage also tends to instill a feeling of well-being to both mother and unborn child.

Reflexology – 30 minutes
Reflexology is the art and science of stimulating the body’s own healing forces by locating and compressing certain points in the feet and hands. The reflex points in the feet and hands are related to every organ and function in the body – much benefit is brought to the body by applying pressure to them.

La Stone Therapy – 90 minutes
La Stone therapy is the treatment which utilizes a Native American healing method and the art of massage. This ancient art of thermotherapy has been done by many cultures for many centuries to bring healing and balance at all levels. This particular method was founded in Tuscon, Arizona by Mary Hunnigan. The use of hot and cold stones on the body brings relief, not only to tense muscles and sore joints, but also has grounding and calming effects on the whole being.
