Types of Yoga

Zen Yoga

There are three ways in which Zen Yoga affects the body:

~Rhythmical repetition of movements develops awareness of the body in motion
~Holding postures deeply effects functions of the internal organs
~Energetic exercises help aid the body in attaining a balanced circulation of energy

Correct and full breathing is essential to good health. It energizes and invigorates the body while also helping to calm the mind. Zen Yoga uses body movement to promote deeper and fuller respiration and helps to develop a better awareness of correct breathing. Zen Yoga is meditation in movement.

Yoga on the Beach

In the summer months we take yoga class to the beach to experience all elements and to feel support from the Earth directly.
